CRAC Small Grants XIII

The Centre for Research on Ancient Civilizations is pleased to announce the 13th call for applications for CRAC Small Grants. These grants aim to support research and dissemination in the field of Ancient Studies, in particular those activities that will contribute to high-impact publications and the international position of the UW.

Because  IDUB will not provide any funding in its final year of activity (2026), this is the last call for Small Grants before the end of this programme and (hopefully) the beginning of the next one.

Eligible activities include but are not limited to: short research stays necessary to complete an article or grant application, publications in the world’s leading journals or publishing houses (in particular copyediting, proofreading, copyrights for illustrations), organisation of international conferences or sessions at international congresses, visits by foreign scholars with seminar papers or plans of common projects. Many of these research activities can also be funded by the IDUB Microgrants which have a rolling deadline.

The call is open to current researchers and doctoral students at the University of Warsaw. All applicants must to be actively engaged in the research and affiliate their publications in PBN with the University of Warsaw.

The maximum amount of the grant is PLN 15 000

The application form with the signed information on the processing of personal data should be sent to the following address: crac@uw.edu.pl with the reference “Small grants” by 31 October 2024

The  results of the call will be announced by 30 November 2024

The project must be completed by 31 December 2025

Earliest project start date: 30 November 2024
