Results of the CRAC Small Grants XVI

We would like to share the results of the 16th edition of CRAC Small Grants. The committee has decided to award funding to four projects for a total amount of PLN 46,699.80.

Below is a list of projects selected for funding. Individual decisions will be sent out in the coming days.

1. Constructing the Sacred: Liturgy, Architecture, and Experience in the Late Antique East. An Interdisciplinary Workshop on Liturgical Installations and Ritual Space in Late Antiquity, University of Warsaw, 25–26 June 2026, Katinka Sewing (Faculty of History) and Tomasz Waliszewski (Faculty of Archaeology)

2. Organisation of the international conference “Sailing Uncharted Seas: Recent Advances in Pottery Studies in the Near East and Eastern Africa during the Late Antique and Early Medieval Periods”, Piotr Makowski (Faculty of Archaeology)

3. Language correction of an English-language article, Kacper Lepionka (Faculty of History)

4. Byzantine sacred architecture of northern Greece –  Artur Obłuski (Centre for Mediterranean Archaeology)
